Cavs Owner Dan Gilbert Suffers Stroke

Cavs owner Dan Gilbert suffered a stroke this weekend, the team announced Monday, and is now recovering at a hospital near his home in Michigan.
A statement attributed to Quicken Loans CEO Jay Farmer said Gilbert wasn’t feeling well Sunday morning and suffered a stroke after being taken to the hospital. He was thereafter taken in for a “catheter-based procedure,” then moved to recovery in the Intensive Care Unit.
As of Monday, he was “awake, responsive and resting comfortably.” He and his family have asked for privacy.
Gilbert is 57. He has owned the Cavaliers since 2005,
