How to read the movement

GRID is not a standings table. A win does not automatically cause a large rise and a loss does not automatically cause a large fall. The size of a move depends on the team's prior rating, the quality and closeness of the result, opponent context, and the rest of the team's recent body of work. Movement by other teams can also change a club's rank even when its own GRID rating improves.
